Read - Digital Black and White Photography

I just finished to read "The Complete Guide to Digital Black and White Photography". Written by Michael Freeman in 2009, the book is true to its title in the sense that it is conceived as a manual for "digital" photographers. Whilst covering the history of b/w photography with illustrations taken from the work of the most famous photographers, it also concentrates on the creative choices which are available when working with digital photographs to create b/w images.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book - Michael Freeman as usual manages to address complex subjects without being too technical or boring, and the classic photographs presented in the book are a pleasure to look at.
Very recommended read - the ILEX paperback is on sale for the affordable price of little more than 20€, or you can browse it for free in Dutch at the Public Library in Leiden.
